SPMC-QAIS CONDUCTS CONTINUOUS QUALITY IMPROVEMENT SEMINAR-WORKSHOP FOR CVPH

The Southern Philippines Medical Center - Quality Assurance and Improvement Section (SPMC-QAIS) conducted a 3-day seminar-workshop on Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), participated in by healthcare executives and staff from Compostela Valley Provincial Hospitals (CVPH) of Pantukan, Laak, Maragusan and Montevista, last April 1-3, 2019 at the Centro Beach Club, Baybay, Pindasan Mabini, Compostela Valley Province. There were 35 participants, composed of chiefs of hospital, administrative officers, chief nurses, staff nurses, medical technologists, dentists, pharmacists, and nutritionists/dieticians.

The activity highlighted the utilization of the the 8-step methodology to address varied issues or problems on processes identified by each hospital. All participants were grateful to SPMC-QAIS for sharing its best practices in providing continuous improvement in the healthcare delivery system and in attaining quality patient outcomes.
