 SPMC Department of Emergency Medicine and the students of Davao SPED Bangkal after the Mass CPR Training. © Dr. Ken NonesaThe Southern Philippines Medical Center, Department of Emergency Medicine (DEM-SPMC) conducted a school cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training last July 16, 2018 at Special Education School, Bangkal Davao City. Medical consultants and residents taught, teachers and Grade 4-6 students, CPR skills including how to recognize an out of hospital cardiac arrest, administer hands-only CPR, activate emergency medical services and call for help.
